Business Development Manager – Finance

Shindig is looking for a charismatic and tech-savvy business development manager, with healthy pre-existing networks in the finance industry, to help advance the market for our revolutionary large-scale online events platform that has been used by the likes of Bill Gates, Sheryl Sandberg, TEDx and Jim Cramer, amongst others.This position involves marketing to every level of lead financial organizations in order to take these entities from pilot programs to institutional broad use. Building on past relationships and general knowledge of the industry, the position entails researching and developing strategies to win, cultivating leads, developing business opportunities and interfacing with all stages of setting up, helping oversee the promotion and facilitating the proper execution of these unique online events. Desired Skills and Experience
Position requires familiarity with the marketing infrastructures of the finance industry, direct experience in how they approach the development of marketing plans and specific knowledge of the landscape of new media options they utilize and why. Candidates should have significant experience in the creation and implementation of digital marketing campaigns. Prior experiences with sponsorships and event creation are also a plus.Candidates must be driven to succeed, innovative, analytical, well organized, able to juggle many diverse and competing responsibilities simultaneously, and familiar with social media tools, analytics and digital marketing metrics. Candidate should be comfortable with spreadsheets, PowerPoints, CRM software, business analysis and sales solicitation.
