During the week of February 15th, the state of Texas experienced a once in a century winter storm that brought travel, business, and in many cases essential services like electricity and water to a complete halt for millions of people. As they say, the show must go on. Luckily, the Dallas 100 team was introduced to the Shindig platform amid this unprecedented weather and our solution virtually enabled their event during a time where most other organizations were sending out cancelation notices.
Objective
Virtually enable a 30th anniversary of The Dallas 100 awards ceremony for the top entrepreneurial and business leaders in the Dallas Fort Worth Metro area.
Strategy
With the support of the production team at MarketScale, the team at SMU Cox was able to put on an exceptionally produced event - featuring usage of historical and modern footage, spotlighted keynotes, and opportunities for guests to mix and mingle as they would at a live event.
Results
Attendees and event hosts alike experienced a memorable virtual event featuring live and pre recorded messages from members of the Dallas business community that drew raves from participants. This type of event product quality simply would not have been possible on other video conferencing platforms on the market.
