Shindig Facilitates Interactive Learning Experience for UCF’s Online Students
Dr. Tadayuki Hara, an associate professor for the Rosen College of Hospitality Management at the University of Central Florida, utilized Shindig in order to allow his online students to watch his lectures in real time.
Specifically, Dr. Hara used Shindig to demonstrate how to correctly utilize a financial calculator for students in his online Finance class. He also worked through complex problems with online participants from the large class. Dr. Hara’s students walked away with greater preparedness to succeed in their online Finance course, thanks in large part to the synchronous teaching facilitated by Shindig.
