The ANA’s 40 year old Global Ace Awards are a linchpin for the advertising community. In realizing them virtually, the ANA sought a format worthy of the great creative minds and content they were celebrating. Catering to lions of the creative community, they knew that their own creative had to be more than just a Zoom call.

Objective
Bring the Global Ace Awards online in a manner that would do their 40 year history proud.
Strategy
Create a seamless awards show experience through Shindig’s broadcast production capabilities and cater the programming to a virtual environment. Also, provide an environment for attendees to mingle as though they were at the show in-person through private video chat tables.
Results
MJM Creative, the production company hired by ANA to produce the event, put together an excellent show. The shark tank style judging worked beautifully on Shindig, with panelists taking the stage to discuss the best elements of nominated work before presenting the winners. Attendees also stayed after the awards were over to connect with each other and congratulate the winners as a live music performance played in the background.
