Unable to invite top donors to their broadcast studio for wonderful in person renditions of incredible classical music because of COVID-19, the leadership at Colorado Public Radio turned to Shindig for their Legacy Circle contributors virtual event.
Objective
Create a virtual space to honor and communicate with top donors of Colorado Public Radio. Give those donors an opportunity to interact with CPR leadership and hosts of their favorite programs.
Strategy
Give a team of highly professional radio producers the robust toolset Shindig provides to create a one of a kind experience for high value Legacy Circle donors when they could not attend the traditional event in its usual physical location.
Results
Legacy Circle donors were treated to wonderful conversations with the CPR: Classical team and a presentation from the President and CEO of CPR himself, detailing the incredible growth that was made possible by their generous donations. Various CPR: Classical hosts took the stage to talk about how transitioning to working from home studios during the pandemic has been challenging, but how it has all been worth it thanks to dedicated listeners and donors like those in attendance. The incredibly smooth flow of the event was enabled by Shindig’s robust production tools, which, when used by radio professionals, highlighted the core functionalities that make Shindig a perfect platform for such events. The event was a wonderful recounting of the value of having a public radio station that reaches over 3 million Coloradans.
