Georgia Tech's College of Computing implemented Shindig to offer seminar lectures as a career development resource for its Online Master of Science in Computer Science (OMS-CS) program.
Objective
Georgia Tech's College of Computing is offering a digital lecture series that will serve as a career development resource for the Online Master of Science in Computer Science (OMS-CS) program. Over the fall 2017 semester, there will be monthly “seminar-style” career-focused digital lectures given by current students and program alumni. Presenters will include alumni from AT&T, AirBnB, JP Morgan Chase, Intel, and more.
Strategy
Sessions were and are being promoted via Georgia Tech's communications with current students and alumni as across social media. Anticipated attendance is 100-150 participants each.
Results
The the first out of five seminars had a total of 218 RSVPs and 116 attendees.
