Harvard Seniors gather for Shindig enabled Commencement receptions, Senior Dinners and Departmental Award Ceremonies marking their milestone rite of passage with social celebrations despite COVID-19.

Replace canceled traditional awards ceremonies and social functions like Senior Dinners with video chat celebrations. House Deans recruited House tutors who learned Shindig and assembled run of show in days time.

Seniors arrived early and stayed late. Without any encouragement they immediately began in reconnecting with classmates, Presentations were made, Award recipients acknowledged, speeches of inspiration, last friendship and gratitude made, Deans left and hours of toasting and conversation ensued.
